Actor Vinayakan’s brother and auto worker Vikraman alleges that the Kochi police seized his autorickshaw for a trivial matter.
A case has been filed on the allegation that an autorickshaw with a Vallarpadam halting station permit operated in Kochi city and caused traffic obstruction. The autorickshaw is in the custody of Kochi Traffic West Police.
Vikraman alleged that the police asked if he was actor Vinayakan’s brother. Vikraman also said that the vehicle was impounded by asking him to leave it at the station for 15 days.
He bought a CNG autorickshaw in the name of his wife by taking a loan from Union Bank. Vikraman also accuses the police of using drugs to settle his grudge against his brother.
Meanwhile, the Kochi City Traffic West Police said that the case filed against Vikraman is a natural procedure. He also alleged that he behaved very badly with the policemen. The police also say that they did not know that he was Vinayakan’s brother.
The police said that a case has been registered for illegally parking the vehicle and operating the service in a place without a permit.
