Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Ravana in Adipurush, a Prabhas film based on the Ramayana story and directed by Om Raut. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan played the villain in Om Route’s super hit film Tanhaji. This is the first time Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan have teamed up.
The tagline of the film is that the victory of good over evil. According to reports, the film is set against the backdrop of the Rama-Ravana war.
The film is produced by T Series. It is reported that the film will be made in 3D. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil. Producer Bhushan Kumar says that Adipurush is a 3D movie that gives the audience a chance to experience the Indian epic story with a beautiful visual richness.
