Owned by Tata motors, Jaguar has launched the 5th generation of Land Rover Discovery. The model, which has been designed as a 7 seater, is been launched at a price ranging from INR 71.28 Lakh to INR 82 Lakh. The premium SUV, boasting 3 litre petrol and diesel powertrain options, is meant to widen Land Rover’s portfolio of the mid segment.
For the diesel variant, the company has presented a 2993 cc engine, while for the petrol variant, there is a 2995cc engine. As far as the engine power is concerned with, the diesel model of the vehicle would deliver 190bhp at 3750rpm, while at 2000rpm, it will clock 600nm torque. On the other hand, the petrol model clocks 250bhp at 6500rpm and at 5000rpm, it clocks 450nm torque. With automatic tyre lifting option and intelligent seat fold functionality, the model has a wading depth of 900mm. Offering permanent four wheel drive, this fifth generation of Land Rover Discovery, is said to have already received bookings for the next two months.
