52nd Kerala State Film Awards presented; See the winners

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan presented the 52nd Kerala State Film Awards on Saturday at a function held at the Nishagandhi auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram.

Biju Menon and Joju George shared the award for Best actor, and the duo received the awards. Revathy Asha received the award for Best actress, which also marks her first Kerala State Film Award.

Best filmmaker Dileesh Pothen and Vineeth Sreenivasan, director of ‘Hridayam’ – Best Film with popular appeal and Aesthetic Value received their awards.

The prestigious JC Daniel Award given for outstanding contributions to Malayalam cinema was presented to filmmaker KP Kumaran, and the first Television lifetime achievement award was received by journalist Sashikumar.
