Thiruvananthapuram: The 26th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala that lasted for eight days and nine nights in the capital city is ending today. The closing ceremony of the festival will be held at 5.45 pm at the Nishagandhi auditorium.
Minister KM Balagopal will inaugurate the closing ceremony. Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been invited as the Chief Guest while writer T Padmanabhan is the guest of honour.
The festival screened 173 films from around the world and witnessed enthusiasm among the cinephiles.
Minister of Culture Saji Cheriyan will hand over the film awards whereas Minister VN Vasavan will dispense the media awards in association with the IFFK 2022.
The programme will conclude with the musical concert of Madhusree Narayan and Rajalakshmi.
