Royal Enfield will start their 2018 journey with the launch of new Himalayan model in India. The latest outing from RE, which has got a camouflage paint scheme of Himalayan, is all set to be launched in India on January 12th. Expected to be a limited edition, the motorcycle is expected to be around INR 1.7lakh. Retaining all the elements of its present model, the Himalayan camouflage is powered by a BS IV, 411cc oil cooled single cylinder. The engine is capable of generating 24.5bhip at 6,500rpm, while the peak torque figure stands at 32Nm at 4,500rpm.
The ground clearance figure stands at 220mm. It was in recent times, which the Himalayan got updated with Fuel Injection (FI) engine.
