Powered by a 155.1cc single cylinder liquid cooled four stroke SOHC engine, this new Yamaha YZF – R15 is capable of developing 19.7bhp at 10,000rpm, while generating a peak torque of 14.7Nm at 8,500rpm. However, the omission of Anti Lock Brake System (ABS) from the vehicle might not entertain the authorities, as they are planning to make it mandatory for all the new bikes above 125cc, launching in India from April 2018.
