Bharti Airtel launched 4G services in Ladakh

Marking the first entry of any telecom operator in the northern frontier of India, Bharti Airtel has launched its services in Ladakh. Officially, the largest telecom operator in India, Airtel has announced some 2,000 mobile sites in North East India, and the customers of its services includes those from 130 towns and villages in the region. Thus faraway regions such as Kargil, Leh, Dras, would now have the availability of unlimited 4G services.
Essentially part of Project Leap, Airtel’s move is expected to prompt other telecom operators to start their operations in similar regions.
