With Android 8.1 Oreo finally been announced ready for market, Google wasted no moment to rope the new OS to its Pixel 2 and 2 XL, the Pixel 1 and 1 XL, the Pixel C tablet, and the Nexus 6P and 5X. Google has also posted the images of the same.
The most important change, which Android 8.1 Oreo sports in comparison with Android 8.0, is the presence of “Neural Networks API” (NNAPI). NNAPI is in fact designed for equipping mobile devices to run machine learning operations. Such phones could accelerate this API, which provides a base layer in a higher-level and can also plug in machine-learning framework into it. It is expected that Google Pixel 2 would be the first one to feature the OS.
