Giving more time for those who haven’t linked their Aadhaar with that of PLAN card, here comes a good news. The government has decided to extend the deadline to March 31. Authorities informed that, those who haven’t linked PLAN with AADHAAR even after the deadline, would be subject to some strict actions by the government. The actions include that of invalidating the PAN number, and relates entanglements. However, the last date for four other services such as bank account, UAN, insurance and ration card, to be linked with that of Aadhaar, would end on 31 December, while for linking phone number with Aadhaar, government has set February 6 as the last date.
Earlier, it was on November 3rd, which the Supreme Court mandated telecom and banks to announce the last date of linking their services with that of Aadhaar, as a number of people went on to file complaints in the regard.
