Making its platform more open to kids, YouTube has introduced more parental controls to its Kids app. The video platform is now handpicking the content for its Kids app, by means of including curate collections and parent approved content. Once parents turn off the search option in the YouTube Kids app, kids would be able to access only videos, which were verified by the internal team. Soon this year, the app would undergo further change, and parents could specifically handpick every video and channel for their kids to watch.
Even if parents didn’t mind turning off the ‘search’ option, the Kids App would still show only filtered content.
