Xiaomi has launched a red colour variant of its Mi A1 before the public. The new launch is seen as a move taken by Xiaomi to go up against the likes of OnePlus, Samsung, who have recently released red variants of their popular models. The Xiaomi Mi A1, which has got a red paint on the rear panel, however has got a black face.
Unveiled in Indonesia, it is not known when the model would be ready to hit the Indian markets. While the company has got a different outlook for the model, the performance remains the same, with the model sporting the processor Snapdragon 625 SoC, along with a RAM/ROM combination of 4GB/64GB. Having a dual 12MP camera on the rear side, the red variant of Mi A1 has been priced at an equivalent price of INR 13,700 by Indian standards.
