Xiaomi has made a surprising announcement today, informing that it would be increasing the price of Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi LED TV 4. There will be a hike in the range of INR 1,000 to INR 5,000. While announcing the price hike, the company clarified that it was the increase in manufacturing cost, which prompted them to take the decision. Xiaomi also attributed the price hike decision to the recent import tax structure change and rupee depreciation. Both the devices are having great demand in the Indian market, and the company is reportedly struggling to meet the demand.
After the price hike, the 55 inch Mi LED TV 4 would be available for a price of INR 44,999. On the other hand, Redmi Note 5 Pro would be priced at INR 14,999.
