Reports say that Sreelakshmi, who was known by her father’s nickname, will soon be released as a doctor. Kalabhavan Mani’s sudden demise came while he was very active in the film industry. Mani left Kalabhavan on March 6, 2016. Earlier, the locals said that both of them were in Palakkad because of their daughter’s studies. He has said many times that his is a happy family. He repeated in many interviews that Nimmi is a poor girl.
Mani has said that life became beautiful after I had my wife and daughter and I became something. But not much time to spend with family. Kalabhavan Mani once complained that Nimmi was not getting enough food. Kalabhavan Mani always used to tell Nimmi that I will not go anywhere and I will stay by your side after I am forty or forty five years old. It was during the release of Paayum Puli that Mani revealed that we are going happily outside of that one certainty. His words were like a joke. He passed away at exactly fifty-five years of age. He joined them without leaving Nimmi. But Nimmi still has to bear the pain of not being alive. As per Mani’s wish, her daughter will become a doctor soon. In the first attempt, Sreelakshmi did not get admission in medicine and got admission in the later year, which is why Sreelakshmi’s studies were not completed when Meenakshi became a doctor.
