With Hyundai expanding its portfolio in the Indian market, the company is sure to leapfrog the competitors in big time. The company is all set to reveal their future products during the Auto Expo 2018, which is to take place in February. As per the company’s plans, they would be introducing as much as 3 new products before the Indian market, within the next 2 years. The first one in the lineup is a new hatchback. Named AH2 by the company, this sedan model is expected to take inspiration from the company’s Santro. Set to be priced under INR 4 lakhs, AH2 is expected to be placed between Grand i10 and Eon. AH2 is touted to have a tallboy design, with an eye for finding appeal amongst the younger audience. It is sure to pose tough competition for Renault Kwid and Datsun redi – Go.
Aiming for a mid life facelift, the test run pictures of i20 have already hit the media. The model, which is in line with the i30 hatchback Hyundai, sold in global markets, is expected to introduce some marked changes in terms of design. The headlamps are expected to be slimmer this time. The front bumper will now find new grille and headlamps.
Now, the company’s most ambitious plan – Electric Sedan. The vehicle, which is the first of its kind from Hyundai, is expected to be the frontrunner of many other electric cars, under the consideration from all companies, including Hyundai. Pitching on the country’s migration to complete electric vehicles moto by 2030, the Electric Sedan from Hyundai however hasn’t divulged much about its technical details.
