VLC Media player has rolled out VLC 3.0, which comes with a host of features. The version 3.0, known as ‘Vetinari’, supports HDR10. Besides that, VLC 3.0 also supports hardware acceleration for videos up to 8K resolution. Featuring support to view 360 degree videos, the VLC 3.0 is sure to satisfy the video makers. That said, for playing 360 degree videos these days, most of the time; you would require having proprietary software.
The latest version also eases out the process of beaming content to another screen. However, the Chromecast support is right now minimized for Windows and Android devices.
