Maharashtra is the front runner in India, as far as ‘hyperloop’ technology is concerned with. The state has already started discussing the project with prospects industry leaders. Reportedly, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has had a talk with the US based company, ‘Virgin Hyperloop One’. The technology, though is still in the nascent stage, would enable one to travel from Mumbai to Pune in a much faster way. Having a distance of 200km between the two cities, ‘Hyperloop’ circuit will help one to cover the distance in a matter of 25 minutes.
It must be added that the Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA) has already identified a 15km long demonstration track for the technology.
