As was reported by the USB Implementers Forum, a number of changes are going to take place in the way you looked upon USB connections. Speaking during the CES 2018, the USB IF informed that they would soon be coming with a certified USB charger initiative. The major highlight of this move is the USB authentication programme. The USB authentication standard covers a wide range of services. Gong in line with the USB IF reports, the USB IF Certified USB Charger Initiative will increase the performance speed and compatibility of the devices connected over USB.
Adding that the USB IF certification also covers other USB devices as well, it seems like chips, boards and cables too would display an enhanced performance in the coming days.
