TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant of its Apache 200 edition. The new edition – TVS Apache 200 Race Edition – has got an ‘Anti Reverse Torque’ (A – RT) Slipper Clutch Technology. Dubbed as Race Edition 2.0, the new Apache 200, happens to be the first motorcycle in the country to get the ‘A – RT Slipper Clutch’. That said, riders will get better lap time and a an enhanced aerodynamics – thanks to the fly screen on board.
There will be three variants available from TVS Apache 200 Race Edition. Named Carburetor, EFI and Carburetor with ABS, the models will respectively be available at INR 95,185, INR 1,07,885 and INR 1,08,985 respectively. The 197cc single cylinder engine delivers 20.5PS (Carb)/21PS (EFI) power at 8,500rpm. The peak torque figure stands at 18.1Nm at 7,000rpm.
