The state government has decided to extend the trial run of online classes for school students in the state for another week. The decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. Plan of action for the future endeavors will be fixed after the trail run. Every class will be re-broadcast on the Victers Channel. Earlier, the trial run phase of online classes, which have started on June 1, were scheduled for one week. However, it is found that more than two lakhs of children are found to be unable to participate in online learning platforms. Now, with the trial are extended by one more week to alleviate all these deficiencies.
Classes taken at this stage will be re-broadcast on Victers Channel. This is to ensure that no classes are lost in the process. Last day, the state got shocked to know that a class 9 student committed suicide since she was not being able to attend the online class. Now, the decision of extending the trial run phase came at a time, when the government is facing criticism from opposition parties for starting online classes from June 1st onwards.
