A social media page named Kaasa with hateful posts related to Kathal movie. Kasa has come out with a hate post against making homosexual characters Christian.
Despite the fact that the director and screenwriter of Kathal movie are Christians, Casa’s post only mentioned Mammootty’s name. Many people are criticizing this post.
The screenwriters of the film include Paulson Skaria and the director Jio Baby. Then they came to Mammootty to ask questions. Calling Muhammad the child whom the world has forgotten, a masterclass of stabbing, is the criticism below the post.
You have not been given the full subversive right of Christians. Christian believers respond to the post saying that cinema is an art and there is no sense to understand it.
Casa’s hateful post is as follows-
Thank you Muhammad Kutty, in the Christian movie Kathal produced and released by you, you made the two anal-loving homosexual characters into Christians but did not turn them into Sunday school teachers in the story and did not script the priest who comes to the family to discuss the matter as an alcoholic and become a part of this same-sex company??
If Mammootty had been in the role of a religious scholar who made the two sub-heroes Christian gay lovers and came to correct them by guiding them, it would have been another smash like Bhishma Parva!
Cinema is the biggest medium that influences the young generation, and the aim of such films is to submerge their subconscious minds in the sense of inferiority created by their own community, beliefs and culture.
Mammootty starrer Bhishma Parvam was the biggest anti-Christian Malayalam film of its kind….and after that again here is a Christian based film ‘Kathal’ with an ulterior motive.
The central character, the protagonist, is a homosexual Christian, and the protagonist’s homosexual friend is also a Christian.
A priest comes to solve the problems that same-sex love can cause in family relationships, and this priest many times tries to justify same-sex love in his words without being direct. Overall good and best setup.
Since you are used to reading and listening to the story of the movie, don’t just say that you haven’t come to your mind at least once when there are discussions about the movie. Because you and the director Jio Baby are not storytellers who have fallen from dignity or are living in this very Kerala…
And the principle is that the end justifies the means. Let’s go!

NB- After watching the movie Bhishma Parvam, we want to say to all the mothals who brought the poor Susapakyam father from the altar by priests and nuns, and to all the Christian youth organizations who are in the throes of official recognition, don’t go back to the trend after watching this movie, it is unethical. ??
