Bengaluru: Teacher R Pushpalatha has responded to the criticism against the photos she took with a class 10 student during a school trip. Head teacher Pushpalatha says about the photo that they have a mother-son relationship.
Pushpalatha also said that she was saddened by the leak of a private photo taken during the tour. Pushpalatha said this while replying to the questions of the school authorities. Pushpalatha is the head teacher of Chintamani Murugamalla Government High School.
Pushpalatha was suspended from school after the photos went viral. The study tour was conducted from December 22 to 25. The photos taken with the student during a study trip to Chikkaballapur went viral on social media.
Photos of him hugging and kissing the student were circulated. He was secretly taking pictures with another student. It was leaked on the internet. After that, a group of people raised severe criticisms.
When the pictures went viral, the student’s parents also came forward. They lodged a complaint with the Block Education Officer demanding a thorough investigation into the photos.
The teacher was suspended after BEO V Umadevi visited the school and conducted an investigation. The investigation report says that the teacher misbehaved with the student.
