Jana Gana Mana is the latest film directed by Dijo Jose Antony with Suraj Venjaramoodu and Prithviraj in the lead roles. Dhruvan, who got attention through Dijo Jose Antony’s debut film Queen, also plays a major role in the film. The actor is now sharing experiences from the Jana Gana Mana film sets.
In an interview with Mirchi Malayalam, Dhruvan talks about COVID situation and the comedy scenes created by superstar Suraj Venjaramoodu on the set. “When everyone contracted with COVID, I luckily escaped,” Dhruvan said.
“Surajettan is playing an intense character in the film. It’s that kind of serious character. As soon as the director says “cut”, his character transforms quickly and takes the mic and starts mimicry. Surajettan brings that vibrancy on the sets. He is the one person who creates an energetic and fun atmosphere throughout,” Dhruvan said.
He added,” There’s no point asking him about fun and comedy. Surajettan is the one who makes fun on the sets.”
Suraj Venjaramoodu and Prithviraj Sukumaran is teaming up again after Driving License. Bankrolled by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen, Jana Gana Mana will have a worldwide release on April 28.
The film also features Mamta Mohandas, Sri Divya and Pasupathy in supporting roles.
Cinematography and editing are handled by Sudeep Elamon and Sreejith Sarang respectively. is scheduled to have a worldwide theatrical release on 28th April 2022.
