As part of observing Earth Day 2022, actor Sunny Wayne stressed on the environment issue of plastic pollution and introduced his small attempt towards greener Earth. Sunny Wayne along with his childhood friends, set up a plastic recycling plant, named “Planet Earth Eco Solution.”
The actor took to his social media and addressed the issue of environmental pollution due to plastic. The actor urged people to promise to keep Earth Green and Clean.
Sunny Wayne shared some pictures from his plant and wrote, “Over the 300 million tons of plastic produced every year, at least 14 million tons end up in ocean. Experts says that it takes around 400 years for a plastic bag to degrade. Until then, it sticks around us spreading toxins and harming everything on the earth. A year after implementation, I am introducing the plastic recycling plant named “Planet Earth Eco Solutions” Me & my childhood friends started at Ernakulam. Here we recycle 2 Tons of Plastic collected from various places everyday. It wasn’t easy for us to start off the project but now it’s slowly turning out to be a Success with support of The Government. We love every bit of what we do here. ”
He added, “On this Earth week, let’s give a promise to ourselves to try our best to reduce, reuse and recycle plastic thus Keep Earth Green&Clean for us and to leave it the same way for Future Generations. Happy Earth Day!!”
April 22 is observed as Earth Day, annually all over the world, aiming to promote global awareness about environmental protection and conservation. And the theme of Earth Day 2022 is ‘Invest In Our Planet’.
