Due to heavy rains, educational institutions in various districts will be closed on Monday. Universities also postponed exams. All educational institutions, including professional colleges, in Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Kollam districts are declared holiday. In Kasargod district, holidays are for schools but not for colleges.
In Ernakulam district, only online classes will be available in all educational institutions, including professional colleges, tomorrow. Students do not have to go to institutions. The order applies to CBSE and ICSE schools and Kendriya Vidyalayas. No change to pre-arranged university exams.
Nedumangad and Kattakada taluks in Thiruvananthapuram district will be closed tomorrow. There is no change to the general examinations scheduled earlier. The Examinations Controller said that all the examinations scheduled to be held by Mahatma Gandhi University on Monday have been postponed. Renewal date will be announced later.
Kerala University has postponed the second semester MA, MSC, M.Com, MSW and MCJ examinations scheduled to start on Monday. The exams will be held on November 22. Kerala University of Health Sciences has postponed its examinations scheduled for Monday. The updated date will be published soon on the University website.
