Samsung launches Galaxy M30S and M10S handsets in India M30S and M10S are updated versions of Galaxy M30 and M10. The Galaxy M30S has some notable upgrades, including a 6,000mAh battery and a 48-megapixel triple camera setup. The Galaxy M10S also comes with dual camera setup, rear mounted fingerprint sensor and 4,000mAh battery. The Galaxy M30S and M10S will soon be available on Amazon and Samsung.com.
Samsung has also announced a new variant of the Galaxy M30 in addition to the Galaxy M30S and M10S. It is available in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration.
Galaxy M30S and M10S: Price and Availability in India
The Galaxy M30S will be available on Amazon India and Samsung’s e-Store starting September 29th. The base variant is priced at Rs 13,999 (4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage). The 6GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999. The M30S will be available in three gradient colors – Opal Black, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White.
The Galaxy M10S is priced at Rs 8,999 for 3GB + 32GB storage configuration. No other variant for the M10s has been announced yet. The M10S will be available in Stone Blue and Piano Black. Samsung says these are special launch prices. The company also plans to increase the price of the M30S and M10S later.
Samsung Galaxy M30S and M10S Features
The Galaxy M30S is powered by a 6.4-inch FHD + Infinity-U Super AMOLED display like its predecessor. It also has WideWin L1 certification for HD streaming on platforms like Netflix and Prime Video.
The M30s, which come in some new gradient color options, get a shiny plastic unibody cover. The rear triple camera setup has now been upgraded to feature a 48-megapixel primary sensor for higher resolution and detailed photography. The camera system includes an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle Sensor and 5MP Depth Sensor with Live Focus support. On the front, the M30S gets a 16MP selfie camera. The M30S camera also supports night mode, AI technology, and super slow-mo recording.
Another feature of the M30S is its 6,000mAh battery. This is the first MAH battery in a phone in India. That’s larger than the 5,000 mAh battery on the M30. The Galaxy M30S offers two days of battery life. The phone also features a new 2.3GHz Exynos 9611 chipset based on the 10nm process. And the Mali G72 MP3 GPU is equipped.
Samsung Galaxy M30S One UI is based on Android 9 Pi. It supports storage expansion via microSD card (up to 512GB). Samsung says the phone has a SAR value of 0.468 W / Kg and can be used safely. The handset supports 15W fast charging through the Type-C port. Despite offering a 6,000 mAh battery, the M30S weighs less than 190 grams.
The Galaxy M10S offers a 6.4-inch HD + Infinity-V Super AMOLED display at a more affordable price. It also features a new Exynos 7884B processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The M10s comes with 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup. It also offers an 8MP selfie camera. It supports a 4,000mAh battery and 15Wh of fast charging.
