Samsung has launched its first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold in India. It is priced at Rs. 1,64,999. This is the most expensive smartphone in the Indian market.
The pre-booking for the Samsung Galaxy Fold begins on October 11. The phone will go on sale from October 20th.Samsung’s flagship smartphone was first launched in February. It was reportedly smashed by Galaxy Fold phones that were offered to reviewers before it was launched in April. The phone was then delayed.
Samsung says it has resolved the screens issue. The phone has also been modified to address the reported issues. There is also a metal layer underneath the display to give it more strength. The design of the phone’s hinge has also been changed.
The Galaxy Fold has two screens. The phone comes with a 4.6 inch HD Plus Super AMOLED display. The phone has a 7.3-inch QXGA Plus Dynamic AMOLED display that folds down. It comes with 12GB of RAM.
The phone has only five cameras. The phone comes with 16MP Ultra Wide Sensor, 12MP Wide Angle Lens and 12MP Telephoto Lens. It has 10MP and 8MP cameras. The phone is an Android based OneUI. It has a 4380 AAH battery.
