The Producers Association has come up with a decision regarding the starting of shooting new Malayalam movies. During the meeting that held today, the organization said that they have considered the concerns shared by AMMA and FEFKA, both of whom have composed letters to the Producers’ Association, regarding the starting of filming. While writing the letters, both the organizations have agreed to cut down the remuneration of its members – a demand, which was put forwarded by the Producers’ Association.
However, The Producers’ Association said that the new films would be considered for release, only after the commercial and marketing possibilities of all the 66 films that had begun before the Covid outbreak. The shooting of new films would have to follow the tight Covid protocols, prescribed by the government. As of now, only indoor shootings have received sanction from the government, with the participation of a maximum of 50 members.
