HC dismisses the plea for postponement of SSLC – Higher Secondary examinations The petitions were dismissed on the grounds of the suggestion that the examination be conducted strictly in accordance with the guidelines. The court directed the KSRTC to provide accommodation for the students. The court also noted that the schools have not complained about the examination.
Meanwhile, the state government informed the court that adequate precautions have been taken to ensure the safety and all measures have been taken to conduct the examination, including the accommodation of students. The Division Bench comprising the Chief Justice considered the case. Over 1.3 million students have registered for the exam. Citing that it was not possible to follow the lockdown guidelines, considering the number of students enrolled, the petition filed on public interest was filed by Anil, who hails from Manadkadu, Thodupuzha.
