Ever since Vidhu Vincent walked off from the WCC (Women in Cinema Collective), the incident has been making its presence felt in the media spaces. The explanatory note left by Vidhu Vincent when she left the organization, has stunned the film buffs in the state, that Vidhu made some serious comments on the functioning of WCC. One such an accusation was against Parvathy Thiruvoth, who has reportedly insulted Vidhu Vincent, as she kept Vidhu waiting for six months without responding to the script of Vidhu’s project ‘Stand Up’.
Now, Parvathy has come up with an explanatory note, in which she said that she hadn’t waited Vidhu, with any vested interests. Parvathy said that she had been undergoing through a severe mental pressure; she maintained that she had expressed his unwillingness to be part of ‘Stand Up’. The reason that Parvathy had cited was that she was quite busy with other projects. In the social media post, Parvathy maintained that due to the hectic work schedule that she had been going through, she wasn’t sure of doing justice to the script of ‘Stand Up’. Parvathy, though acknowledged the hardships that Vidhu had gone through, however expressed her sadness over the accusations that Vidhu had made. During the social media post, Parvathy also expressed solidarity with WCC.
