OnePlus has finally rolled out the ‘Android Oreo’ update for OnePlus 5. The Android 8.0 Oreo update, based on Oxygen OS 5.0 will consume 1.5GB data. The update is being deployed via Over The Air (OTA), while officials maintained that the current update will reach only a part of its user community, while a larger rollout is going to happen in a few days’ matter.
Having said that, Android 8.0 Oreo update brought several new features to OnePlus 5, with the likes of an improved interface design, quick settings access, optimization of camera photo quality and that of Google’s latest security patch for the month of December. Picture in Picture, Rescue Party Feature, and Face Unlock are the several ones that need to be mentioned.
