Putting an end to all the rumours, Nokia has finally launched its much awaited Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone. The latest outing from Nokia, which has been listed online in China, will go on sales from January 10 onwards. The second generation variant of Nokia 6, released almost a year ago, carries 5.5 inch FHD display. The smartphone however doesn’t come with 18:9 aspect ratio. As far as the upgrade is concerned with, HMD Global has refreshed the features of both the processor and RAM.
The device is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, as against the predecessor’s Snapdragon 430. The new device will reach markets with a 4GB RAM and will have two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. Running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, Nokia 6 (2018) will soon receive Oreo 8.0 update. It houses 16MP and 8MP sensors on the rear and front sides respectively. With a 3,000mAh battery inside the dock, Nokia 6 is been priced at RMB 1,499 (~INR 14,600) and RMB 1,699 (INR ~16,600), respectively for the 32GB and 64GB versions.
