The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has informed the public that they need to be cautious about Aadhaar cards. While speaking about the importance of keeping the card safely, the authority maintained that cards must not be subject to unauthorized printing. Doing so, the QR code might turn dysfunctional or could expose the personal data.
That said, UIDAI wanted the citizen to not go for plastic or laminated Aadhaar smart cards. In order to tackle the situation, UIDAI asked citizen to download the e version of Aadhaar card on ordiary paper. Citizen can also use the mAadhaar cards as well.
