The Health Ministry has issued a statement in order to clarify the concerns of Indian candidates wishing to pursue medical education abroad. As per the statement, candidates wishing to do so, on or after May 2019, would be required to qualify the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). The Ministry also made it clear that only Indian students – living in India or abroad – wishing to get admission to MBBES/BDS from foreign Universities are required to qualify NEET.
The statement now clarifies the concerns of candidates, those who have already taken admission in foreign universities.
