Vijayan, who did not hesitate to help in the rescue operation, was still shocked by the accident in Wayanad. Vijayan lost close friends including his mother and sister in the tragedy.

People were shifted from the epicenters of the landslides, Mundakkai and Smilimuttam. The dead bodies in this area were shifted to Meppadi Hospital.
