Microsoft is all set to unveil a secured unlock feature – PalmSecure. Partnered with Fujitsu, and is planning to integrate ‘PalmSecure’ feature with the future models. As was claimed by the company, the PalmSecure feature is much securer than that of fingerprint security. Here, the authentication system relies heavily on the palm vein data. The process is been carried out in a contact less authentication procedure, when one raises the hand above the integrated sensor placed on the device.
The advanced authentication algorithm followed by PalmSecure recognizes the pattern of the deoxidized hemoglobin actively flowing within the individual’s veins. The PalmSecure feature is coming from Microsoft, in line with the recent success of Windows 10 Hello unlock feature.
