The two-liter diesel engine from Fiat Chrysler Automobile is powered by BS-6 standards. This is the same engine that makes Jeep Compass in India and Tata Harriers in India. The revamped engine will produce 170bhp and 350Nm of torque, as per Hector’s BS4 standard. The only transmission option is the six-speed manual gearbox.
In addition, Hector is also available in the market with BS-six standard, 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine; The engine is capable of up to 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is backed by a 48-volt hybrid hybrid system. In addition to the manual gearbox, Hector also has a six-speed DCT transmission with petrol engine.
The MG Hector’s arrival of the BS-6 standard diesel engine is no exception. The entry-level variants include the projector headlamp, steel wheel, height adjustable driver’s seat, second-row seat AC vent, rear seat, sliding backrest, remote locking and audio system. Along with the EBD, ABS, reverse parking sensor, front airbag, hill hold and traction control are also available in all versions of ‘Hector’.
The top-end version of the Sharp is available with Powered Front Seat, Auto Climate Control, Panoramic Sun Roof, Powered Tailgate and iSmart Connected Car Technology.
It is expected that MG Motor India will launch a three-hectare hexagonal cell phone in the near future; This new version will also go on sale as ‘Hector Plus’. Despite the potential for change in facilities and systems, the Hector Plus will be powered by the same two-liter diesel engine.
