In a good move, the Kochi Metro has now free WiFi in the trains for the passengers. The service was inaugurated on Tuesday by KMRL MD Loknath Behra.
The WiFi currently works in the 4G service and will be soon upgraded to 5G as and when it gets available in the state, KMRL said. It added that the data of the passengers will be secured while using the wifi.
After connecting the wifi, the user has to enter name and phone number and verify OTP to access the internet.
