The government will have to reach an agreement with the private bus owners regarding the increase in bus fares regarding the fare of students. Student fares have not changed since 2012. The minimum rate is one rupee. The Justice Ramachandran Commission, which had directed to increase the bus fare, had recommended a timely revision of ticket prices for students. The commission has proposed to raise the minimum rate to Rs. The bus owners want Rs.
