Kamal Haasan requests government to help photographers, taxi drivers

Kamal Haasan has taken social media spaces in a move to announce solidarity to the commoners, who have suffered the most during the times of the pandemic. The star, who has been quite active on social media corners, has now requested the government to help photographers and taxi drivers who were affected during the lockdown. He has also made an announcement that his party men would help photographers and taxi drivers, while his request to the government was to support his party’s initiative.

According to the tweet made by the star, a total of 20 lakh people are struggling without having a proper source of income. While referring to the photographers, taxi – van drivers mainly, the tweet made by Ulaganayagan criticized the moratorium terms announced by the RBI. Kamal Hassan criticized the decision to levy the interest rates from those who have availed the loan moratorium. After announcing his entry to politics, Kamal Hassan has been quite vocal about various issues. During the lockdown period, he has used the social media spaces to interact with his followers as well as other stars. Recently, he had interacted with Vijay Sethupathi and AR Rahman.
