As it was revealed today, Kerala has added 86 more new Covid 19 patients, which took its total tally to 1412. This is the highest single day figure that the state has recorded. Meanwhile, the state also witnessed another Covid death, as Thiruvananthapuram Nalanchira resident Fr. KG Varghese succumbed to death. He was undergoing treatment in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Out of the total number of new cases, 74 are for people, who came from outside of the state. 46 are from foreign countries, while 26 are from other states; 12 got affected the disease through transmission. The details of the distribution of new covid cases added by each districts is as follows,

Meanwhile, the samples of 19 patients were tested negative. Till date, 1412 people from the state got affected by coronavirus. The state currently has got 775 active patients. As the state has entered ‘unlock one’ phase, authorities have requested people to take necessary precautionary measures in order to prevent getting affected by the disease. The state has also added one more hotspot, taking its total number to 122.
