July 30: India registered 52,123 new positive cases

During the past 24 hours, a total of 52,123 fresh Covid cases were reported in India. With this, India inching towards crossing the 16 lakh mark. With last day’s figure, India’s Covid tally stands 15,83,792 to its credit. The country has also registered 775 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 34,968 lives from India so far. Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 5,28,242, whereas a total of 10,20,582 got cured/discharged/migrated.

Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi continue to lead India’s Corona chart. However, it has to be noted that the rate of increase in the active cases is tad low, compared to those who get cured. ICMR statistics show that India has tested a total of 1,81,90,382 samples till day, with country testing a 4,46,642 samples last day.
