Kerala has been registering more than 100 Covid positive cases for the past some days. Today, the daily positive case count has reached the record figure till date, with the state registering more than 200 cases for the first time. The state has added up a total of 211 new positive cases. Similar to the last day, the number of samples that turned negative has once again crossed 200 mark and stands at 201. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 4,964, while the state’s total active cases have reached 2,098. A total of 2,839 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 138 are from overseas, while 39 came from other states A total of 6 CISF officers have caught the disease.
27 got the disease through transmission, which incidentally has marked the biggest spike till date.
