The India International Exchange (INX) of BSE, has listed the Indian Railway Finance Corporation’s green bonds. The IRFC green bonds, which are listed on debt listing platform, has also become the first one of its kind to be listed on an exchange. That said, it is on an exchange at International Financial Service Centre in Gujarat’s GIFT City, which the debt bond is listed.
Earlier, IRFC had raised $500M during the transaction of a 10 year green bond from various investors. The investors were mainly from Asia, Europe and offshore US through listing on LSE. While listing the green bonds, officials commented that the bonds have an annual yield of 3.835 percentage.
