Akhil Marar had said that he will not invest money in the Chief Minister’s relief fund and now here he has come up with another post. There is no falsehood in it, and I have not said so. But I have the right to decide to whom my money goes. It should not be for other department’s activities. If Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had become an administrator who could carry forward the people of Kerala by bringing creative plans and carrying out a disaster in the state, then the Chief Minister would not have come to the people and asked him like this. I don’t want to give my money to such a chief when we are ruled by an incompetent ruler who doesn’t know how to govern constructively. I was thinking of giving five lakh rupees for Wayanad. But instead of that amount, it was thought that it could be done in a way that would benefit people in a bigger way. When I talked to my friends, one of them said that he would pay 40 cents to build a house on his land. Not by walking across the country, but to build with the support of those who are willing to help me in my circle.
If I wanted, I could have given 1 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and bought applause and marketed it. But what I wanted is that if it is a rupee, it should reach the hands of the deserving people. The comrades do not understand why they are itching. Didn’t I say that I can pay for three houses, am I like Yousafi Sahib or Kalyan and have earned crores of rupees and kept them in the house? I give a share of what I get.
Comrades can use this CM’s relief fund as a weapon to grow their own party. But according to the law, even we cannot find this out. That’s why I thought of getting help directly into the hands of deserving people. I have the right to say that I have no faith in the communist movement. I would have given the house to those in Wayanad, but if they scratch me, I will scratch.
