Thiruvananthapuram: Minister P.A. Union Minister of State V. Muraleedharan ridiculed and criticized Mohammad Riaz. Muralidharan taunted that Mohammad Riaz should not be intimidated and that he is not a minister because his father-in-law is the Chief Minister.
Riaz had criticized Muralidharan while participating in the New Kerala meeting at Kayamkula. Riaz’s criticism was that the Union Minister was constantly spreading falsehoods, including on economic issues.
In response to this, Muralidharan’s sarcasm was, “It is a situation where people cannot go down the road after seeing the development being carried out by Muhammad Riaz and his father-in-law. The tourism minister should first say what the 95 crores given to Sabarimala was done.
National highway development is done by the central government. I have not tried to develop such a way as to leave the board of father-in-law and son-in-law and say that I have done all this.
As the Minister of State for External Affairs, he has done all possible work for the good of Kerala.” V. Muralidharan said.
