How to pay KSEB electricity bill online through? : Forgetting to pay the electricity bill on time is a regular occurrence. Sometimes we know it only when the power connection from the KSEB was disconnected due to non payment of the bill. Nowadays you can even skip the queue at the KSEB’s office for paying bill. As the country is on the rise digitally, phone bill and current bill can be paid online with a smartphone. The Electricity Board has arranged the payment of electricity bills online through KSEB’s website at wss.kseb.in.
How to pay electricity bill online through KSEB quick pay?
1. Those who have provided the mobile number along with the consumer number in KSEB, log on to the official website of KSEB and click on the Quick Pay option (http://wss.kseb.in/selfservices/quickpay).
2. On the next page, enter your 13-digit consumer number and bill number in the column. Enter your Email ID and click on the ‘Proceed to Pay Bill’ icon.
3. The next page will show the bill amount to pay and the closing date. At the bottom of this page, select the Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card option from the “Select Payment” option. Click on ‘Confirm Payment’ button on the next page and go ahead and make the payment.
It is important to note that the service charge will be levied from those who pay through net banking. Once paid, the details of the bill will be displayed on the screen. This information is also available via email and mobile. Customers can print and store the bill if needed.
Transaction information will be available within 48 hours after the money is debited from your bank account. If you do not receive this confirmation after 48 hours, you will need to report it to KSEB at e-mail cccepaysupport@kseb.in along with section code, consumer number, bill payment date and bill number.
Payments can be made through e-wallets like PayTM, Mobikwik, Google Pay and Amazon Pay in addition to net banking and credit/debit card. KSEB has a mobile app to make these things easier. In addition, if you register your mobile number and e-mail address with the KSEB, you will receive notifications of the Kerala State Electricity Board by phone and e-mail.
