Actor Siddique’s son Rashin left us a few days ago. Now a person’s note about him is going viral on social media. This post was first published by Manorama Online. This post is written by Unni K Warrier. The note reads:

“I don’t know Rash directly. Never seen before. Just heard. But ever since I heard that Sappy died, my eyes filled with tears. Son of actor Siddique, Sappi is born with physical disabilities. His later growth was in the sea of love given by that family. I was getting to know Sappi for about 20 minutes yesterday when Siddique was talking about how much more attention he got than a normal kid would get.

He started reading from childhood. He started taking books from a library in Kakanada. He used to go to the library once a week. If left to be taken away, he would close his eyes and keep silent. This continued till the age of 37. Even at the age of 37, he was still a child. Is there any child who loved letters like this? A child who cries because he can’t find books to read.

As he comes closer, he holds Siddique’s hand. Siddique said that his hand will not be in my hand when there is a greater sorrow than his departure. As I said this, I could feel the coldness of Sappi’s insides in my hands. He dies in his sleep. By the time Siddique reached the hospital, he was found dead. He was sitting with both hands folded like children. It was Siddhi who straightened it out. It was then that he pressed his palm for the last time. Even while saying this, Siddique was looking at his hand. Perhaps he will feel that the smell of Sappi is still there”.
