Debutant director Sreeraj M Rajendran’s ‘Chance’ starring Amit Chakkalakal, Rudra, Guru Somasundaram and Anarkali Marikar in the lead roles has started rolling. The pooja and switch-on ceremony of the film was held at the Anchumana Devi Temple Grounds, Edapally, Ernakulam.
The function was graced with the presence of the veteran director Vinayan who started the film with the first clap.
‘Chance’ also has other talented cast that includes Sabumon, Abdusamad, Arjun Gopal, Shyam Mohan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Hareesh Kanaran, Sudheer Karamana, Niramal Palazhi, Bitto Davis, and Chembil Ashokan.
Produced by Rajesh Raj, Nufais Rahman and Haridas under the banner of Captain Movie Makers and Nabiha Movie Productions, the cinematography will be done by P Sukumar. he script is penned down by the director himself along with the co-scenarist Joseph Augustine Kurumban. Akhil Mohan is roped in as the editor for the film.
Meanwhile, Guru Somasundaram was recently seen in superhero movie ‘Minnal Murali’ where he played the antagonist character named Shibu. The film was a superhit which was directed by Basil Joseph and the titular role was played by Tovino Thomas.
