The Cabinet meeting, which held today, has decided to exempt buildings with a buildup area of up to 20,000 square meters, from taking quarrying permit. Earlier, only building which have a buildup area of up to 300 square meters, which were exempted from taking the permit. The quarrying permit allows buildings to start construction, without getting prior permission from all the residential/non residential buildings within an area of 50 meters, apart from, which one has to produce revenue documents, survey map, and environmental clearance.
Recently, the central government had sanctions the construction of building with a buildup area of 20,000 square meters, without getting environmental clearance. With this movement, the real estate industry in the state is expected to get a boost.
